Doctor J. Douglas Huggett D.O. - Cardiologist Niles, MI and St. Joe, MIDr. J. Douglas Huggett D.O.

Dr. Huggett is a graduate of Michigan State University, and of the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MO. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Huggett completed a residency program in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology, both at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac, MI. He has also completed interventional training at St. John's Hospital in Detroit and electrophysiology training at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Dr. Huggett is board certified and is trained in cardiac catheterization, coronary angioplasty, coronary stenting, pacemaker implantation and peripheral vascular intervention.

Dr. Huggett is active in the Southwest Michigan community and is a member of the Board of Directors for Lakeland Regional Health System.

 

Ogubay T. Mesmer M.D. - Cardiologist Niles, MI and St. Joe, MIOgubay T. Mesmer M.D.

Dr. Mesmer graduated from the University of Khartoum and was awarded a M.B.B.S. degree in 1982. He completed an internship and residency program at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in 1995. Dr. Mesmer completed his Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Arizona Medical Center in 1998. He completed his nuclear cardiology training in 1999.

Dr. Mesmer is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases. He is trained in invasive and interventional cardiology, including cardiac catheterization, coronary angioplasty, and coronary stenting. Dr. Mesmer specializes in Nuclear Cardiology and currently is an authorized user of radioactive material, licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

 

April Huggett - Physician Assistant Niles, MI and St. Joe, MIApril Huggett PA-C

April Huggett is a graduate from Western Michigan University where she earned her degree as a Physician Assistant in 1992. She is board certified and belongs to the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

April is also a Registered Nurse and has worked in the Cardiac Care Unit at Bronson Methodist Hospital.

April has over fifteen years of involvement with cardiac patients and enjoys working with physicians to help and prevent cardiac disease.
